2007.3.14 - 2330 - Just Some Updates |
|
| |
I added Fury's
content for the "contact info" section.
Something to keep in mind, everyone on there wrote their
own. Blame the author if you're emotionally scarred
because of its contents.
Still no offers on my
car.

2007.3.13 - 0005 - New Cell Beta Test 1 |
|
| |
So here I am testing out the look of the news
cell that I designed while I was bored late one night too
long ago to remember. It's very simple in design,
but I think that's the whole goal for this page.
Less is more, no? I know this is really boring to
whoever is reading, but I really just want to have some
filler text without the Lorem Ipsum that I've had scrawled
all over this site for far too long. Ah, there's
something I can burn some text on. Lorem Ipsum is
not a real language. Some have asked me if it's
Latin, but it's actually filler text used in the old days
(ask John about pre-movable type days) to test the layout
of the page. It was designed to work well with
simulating the random spacing of real text as opposed to
just spamming the same word. There are a few
variations I've found online, but I prefer to just use the
original. What's the point of some nostalgia for an
era I didn't live in when you use incorrect
versions. Wow, that made me sound pretty
pompous. Where's my fish eggs on a cracker, dammit?
Doot doot doot... cripes, it's hard to come
up with filler sometimes. This is worse than my
rants. At least there my ramblings have a slightly
skewed goal. Speaking of absolutely nothing in
particular, Tenacious D has an air of genius in its utter
lack of content. They can sound that good and have
that little to say. Kyle Gass is a very talented guitarist
(I think... granted, I'm a drummer, so what do I know?)
and Jack Black's vocals can be very good when he's done
dicking around.
SUDDEN LEFT TURN! I'm losing my desire
to continue that conversation. I need to start
over. Actually, now that I see it in 1024x768 it
looks good enough for a test for today. Thank you
for your participation and I'm sorry for anyone who had to
put up with reading all of that. I wish there was
some way I could compensate you for the 3 (roughly)
minutes you wasted on this... wait, no, I don't
care. You should be paying ME, you thieving little
bugger.
